Hello,
Intel making their new Kaby Lake-X and low-end Skylake-X processors available for preorder on June 19th. Where can I preorder these processors? When will they become available on Amazon or Newegg?
Thanks,
OP

Yes they will be available on Amazon and Newegg. But don't hurry as it is new lineup. Wait for benchmarks and reviews and then get it.

Reviews should be out in time so check those first. The reviews should point you to sites to preorder.

Skylake-X is the high end. That's where the 12 and 16 core i9 falls in. Kaby Lake X is the more affordable option. That's the new i5-7800 and i7-7800 series comes in.

Yes Kaby Lake-X is affordable and most meaningless CPUs of the lineup. I wouldn't recommend Kaby Lake-X to anyone. Don't know why Intel provided 4Core CPUs on Xtreme lineup.

Kaby Lake-X contains the i5-7640X and the i7-7740X. Skylake-X contains everything above that, including the 7800X.

Yeah that was a pretty lame move on their part. They should have put that as an upgrade to Kaby Lake.
