which is best for gaming and loading tons of stuff at the same time, even few games, internet and encoding all at the same time (games less often will be working at the same time.

Well based on your needs (and depending on your budget), I would think that you would be heading towards either a 4770k or a 3930k. If you were looking to do plenty of cpu intensive tasks, I would head towards the 3930k, but for general computing, the 4770k will suit most. I am unsure exactly how much you are doing, so perhaps you would like to give some examples of your regular PC usage.

well its mostly games and sometimes i leave few open at same time for example while im playing battlefield ill leave movies open in the browser and record stuff for youtube(the game itself) and leave another game open. all at the same time. (the movie is not playing its just there for when i finish playing).

I would get the 4770k with a good aftermarket cooler. It should be able to handle your needs. I have a 3770 and it easily handles 2 games at once (albeit one is automatically paused when minimised), and recording should probably be more reliant on your GPU.

GTX 770 is what im getting. i dont think ill overclock so 4770 it is. also i will get a z87 motherboard since its quality and they have other features other than overclocking that effect overall use i suppose. right?

Yeah I would get a Z87, I just wouldn't choose ASrock, because I have had horrid experiences with them. So as long as you aren't getting any of their boards, I wish you luck.

Not necessarily, my friend has an E3-1230 V2 based system (4 cores 8 threads) and it is great for his encoding etc. needs, he got it simply because he didn't see a need for onboard graphics, the i7 cost more and he didn't want to overclock. Also the E3-1230 V2 has a lower Max TDP at 69W

I geuss its all dependant on needs.

you litteraly made a thread inside a thread.. but dont go cheap on a motherboard man just say a price you got it. the only reason i made this thread is actually coz i have no clue about the xeon at all.

They have some extra enterprise features, but apart from that they are the same as the newest i5s and i7s with no integrated graphics and lower power consumption.

hes asking in general not a specific model. this is clearly SO easy just look at the socket and price, i hate it when people want everything done for them and dont even ressearch for 5 mins. (this thread i did not find and i didnt find the info i was looking for out of this thread so i dont fall into that category)

If you don't plan on OCing and want the lower power consumption the 1230 V2 has 4 cores and 8 threads, makes it pretty much the same as the non-overclockable i7-3770.
