Intel Xeon E5450 for ~20$? It's a good change from Amd Phenom 9550?

That will not work on your motherboard first off. Second the processor has been altered to work in the standard 775 slot. The processor is 10 years old and would only work in a long dead platform. You will also get less performance from this one compared to the 9550. You can buy a current gen Xeon for about the same as you can get your 9550. You would be going backwards if you do get that one. I would not get the e5450.

Thank you guys.
So what processor do you recommend? Not so expensive, max 40-50 dollars if possible, cause I would "build" a new pc, I think I'll need a new motherboard too, etc.

If you go with a new processor with an Intel cpu you will have to buy a new motherboard. The rest of the components will probably transfer over depending on what version of processor you get. What you have is more than adequate for anything you want to do on a computer. Any other kind of processor will not give you any noticeable difference in performance. I would stay with what i have.

If you have all that stuff around (especially motherboard and memory) it's not a bad deal. But if you have to buy all this stuff aswell, skip it.
Since we are talking about a "1st gen" Phenom the difference will be noticable.
But you might want to read into the whole LGA771 to 775 modding thing first and decide if it's for you.
You'd be better off with a Phenom II X4 (the 955 and 965 are rather expensive in comparison but the 940 and Athlon II X4 640/645/650 might give you a good deal) since they should work in most motherboards that support the 1st gen Phenom CPUs.
