Intel Xeon L5506: Is this processor good for gaming?

I was able to get an Intel Xeon L5506 for free. Is this processor good for gaming?

Apparently, this is a low voltage processor and has a maximum TDP of only 60W.

It's the same gen as the first gen i series, nehalem and it's a quad core. It's low-mid end comparable to modern athlon x4 or a8 apus.

The Xeon L5506 looks like a cripple version of the Core i7 920.

It has slower clock speed (2.13GHz vs 2.66GHz), smaller L3 Cache (4MB vs 8MB), no Hyper-Threading, no Turbo Boost.

Also, since the Xeon L5506 is only running at 60W TDP, does that means that there's a lot of headroom for overclocking?

My university was doing an upgrade. It didn't want the old processor.

Tdp is not an indication of ocing headroom. Lower spec cpus tend to be lower bins so expect it to oc less.
