Intel Xeon X5450 Motherboard Support

I bought an Intel xeon modded with the extra rows for lga 775 support. I have an optiplex machine but that motherboard didn't support cards in the Xeon line. Is there a motherboard anyone knows that supports this cpu? It's a great start for building a computer for my cousin.

Pretty much any lga 775 motherboard that supports 45nm cpu's such as core2duo/core2quad/extreme will also support the xeon lga 771 equivilents...assuming you put the mod sticker on properly and install the cpu correctly by rotating it, cutting the 775 socket tabs out etc. Generally these boards will also have ddr2 capability, many up to 800/1066mhz. There are alot of older asus and gigbyte boards floating around on ebay from this generation but they are usually also over priced so good luck!...Do NOT get an older 775 board without 45nm and DDR2 support.
