This is true. However...performance is pretty much the same.
The real world performance difference between a decent SATA SSD and a PCIE4 NVME drive are negligible, so performance improvement should almost never be the driving factor in upgrading your storage for a desktop unless you're still using platters. 665p also has 50% better endurance, which probably won't mean much to most users either. At this point in time, $90 for 1TB NVME is a good deal.
