Intel's latest Arc drivers have a new code path that can boost performance in DirectX 11 games by 19% on average. It's working to validate more titles, and also has a new PresentMon GUI and performance metrics that are now available.

Arc is aging like fine wine. Or, another way to put it, intel released the product with alpha or beta drivers.

In any event, it’s good to see intel focus on efficiency. Hopefully that focus on efficiency permeates it’s way into the rest of intel and results in things such as: 1) more power efficient cpu cores (better perf per watt); 2) utilizing techniques such as Zen’s 3d-Vcache to allow for better performance on the same silicon; and so on.
Do more with less should be the focus.

Yeah, but there are a LOT of DX 9 & DX 11 games out there.

You have no data about the power efficiency of any intel cores to begin with.
You only have overclock numbers of the whole CPU that includes two types of cores plus a lot of other stuff that is not being filtered out.
