But seriously, Intel made a misstep w/ the prescott core, and going from the P3 architecture to P4. It made sense then, but giving to the lack of being able to foresee the future, they've come back nicely.
AMD sure made them rethink things - and that's good. Now w/ the performance-per-watt wars, it'll be really interesting and good for technological advances.
But I agree that they're finally getting it. Or mebbe we should say they finally got it (like a while back)... 😛 I'm glad I didn't go work in the processor business.
