News Intel's Open Image Denoise 2.3.0 library adds support for Battlemage GPUs, Arrow Lake, and Lunar Lake CPUs — Xe2 graphics edge closer

The list of products that the Open Image Denoise version 2.3.0 supports includes the upcoming discrete Arc Battlemage graphics processors that are expected to arrive sometime in the second half of the year as well as Intel's Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake CPUs that will come with Arc Xe integrated graphics (presumably based on the Xe2 microarchitecture).

Why are you using the word "presumably" here ? Poor reporting. Intel has already confirmed Lunar Lake CPUs will sport the Xe2 graphics architecture, based on the Battlemage iGPU.

Exclude Arrow Lake lineup from there. Arrow Lake would be based on the older Xe iGPU arch, reusing the Arc Alchemist graphics architecture.

That's the discrete "Xe2 HPG" architecture the image library is referring here (to be used in the upcoming Battlemage gaming GPU lineup) ! Battlemage GPU will also come in the "Xe2 LPG" flavor.

Maybe he has insider knowledge that Intel plans to do differently!

Exactly. Lunar Lake will indeed use XE2 battlemage graphics.

That's absurd. Hope you are not being sarcastic here.

So You mean to say the author wants to convey what Intel officially announced and confirmed about Lunar Lake architecture was just for publicity stunt and the specs and info was not final ? And the author knows better than Pat Gelsinger himself through some insider?🙃

That's some Inception level manipulation!
