Hello, my system recently shuts itself down completely.

CPU: a10 5800k

GPU: Palit gtx 550 ti

MB: GA-F2A75-D3H

PSU: Cooler master 400w

When playing games after like 0.5-2 hours the pc shuts off, and i can't turn on the PC for like 1 minute or so...

I did a 15minute run on Furmark on the gpu and it shut itself down after 6 minutes at 77C, could it be that the psu is too bad (400w) for the gpu? Or is it the overheating GPU problem?

Thank you in advance

It can be either but I'm betting on the faulty psu here because 77c is still fine for a 550ti if that is what you said the max temp before it shuts down.

CM power supplies aren't great and their low end units are even more terrible.

How about CPU temps?

The cpu were always fine, I had a hd 6670 crossfired with my apu and had no problems. This problem came when i bought this second-hand 550 ti, I guess it needs a more powerful psu
