Intenso ssd in Dell Laptop not recognised

Hello everyone,

I just bought a ssd for a dell inspron 3542 and when i boot the laptop it says "no boot device detected". But when i go to the bios, in the section fixed hdd it shows intenso 128gb. Can anyone help with this? The sata mode is ahci and it doesnt have any other mode.

Did you reinstall windows on the SSD?

i cant because it couldn't detect the drive.

It recognizes the intenso ssd but it doesnt detect it as a boot device!
