I just found something you might be interested in knowing.
I was looking through some UScript and found your name as
a credit in the ChaosUT mod!. I believe ChaosUT won the
Make Something Unreal contest didn't they? Hey...you
might be entitled to some of the proceeds eh? Here is what
I found:

// ============================================================
// Chasoutmiscmuts.ChaosUTMutatorArena: put your comment here

// Created by UClasses - (C) 2000 by meltdown@thirdtower.com
// ============================================================

class ChaosUTMutatorArena expands Arena;

I just thought you'd like to know this in case you didn't already!

Thanks for posting that address ;-) Oh, I only get spam there anyway
:-D

BTW, I wish I rephrased that default comment, btw. There are quite a
few mods out there that don't include any info on where to download
it, who wrote it, etc. except that it was built using my UClasses...
So many people ask me about mods I never knew existed!

Oh well! No one's perfect, and if you had have rephrased it, you
would most likely still be thinking "man! if I had only said this
or that"

That's sort of what I thought but at least ChaosUT did give some
kind of contact info and I can see where people might think that
you made the mod and not UClasses. They should have given the
address to your site so they could look for UClasses. That's what
I try to do when I give someone credit instead of giving away
their email addys but if all the author makes available is an
email addy then I'm left with no choice or try to track down the
site where I found something again and use that in the credits. I
also try to avoid giving someone a direct link to the file, unless
they ask for one, so they can maybe find something else of
interest to them, or maybe click on one of those damn spam banners
or something. LOL! That's probably why you get a lot of spam at
that email addy because it has been distributed more. Does anyone
ever email you at that addy and ask you how they can get your
UClasses program? or is it all just spam? no thanks to me! Duh!

The text you saw was (is) the default comment UClasses puts on top of
every new class you create. The program allows for per-package custom
comment templates, but apparently hardly anybody changed the default.

Ah, I don't have banners on my site anyway ;-)

I haven't used that email address ever since I registered
unrealtower.org. Also, my spam filter is pretty good at it's job, so I
hardly read any spam anyway :)
