Okay so I thought I had a dead pixel on my Asus monitor. A red dot on black, then it would be green on yellow.

I tried all the methods and none worked.... EXCEPT.... the very last one..
It says to Manually fix the pixel, turn off the monitor, apply pressure on the pixel, turn on monitor (they say with a towel, I just used my finger), then let go.
And ya know what! IT WORKED! I found it very interesting as none of the normal conventional ways worked for me, but this did and it was just so odd that doing that over all the software stuff, worked.
Not sure who could use this information but I figured I would share it. Also I will update if the problem comes back.
