Hello, i am gonna get a used mobo soon, it's for a build for a friend, Gigabyte GA-MA770t-UD3P. On the gigabyte's site the motherboard appears to not have VRM heatsink, also the one i am getting appears to not have it either, the seller told me he is the frist owner, and that the board never had the mosfet-vrm heatsink. There are holes for mounting the mosfet-vrm heatsink on the board, and i would like to know how to get a heatsink for a board that doesn't come factory with it but has mounting holes, as i am gonna do some overclocking on already 140W TDP chip.

mobo screen shoot :

Thanks in advance,

Regards, Aleximus.

Have you seen the Enzotech MST-81 ... I expect it will fit, but can't guarantee it. Since this is an older motherboard I think it will be hard to find something new and you will be looking at used stuff (ebay?).

The other option is to try and find a DOA Gigabyte motherboard that has a MOSFET heatsink and use it ... will it fit? Don't know.

My final thought is little stick on heat sinks. https://picclick.com/ENZOTECH-MOS-C10-LE-Forged-Copper-MOSFET-Heatsink-10pcs-251998284401.html for example.

Edit *** If you can get a fan pointed at them, you don't really need a heatsink.
