ok we are have a frustrating time here!! our rig:
asrock fatal1ty z97
16GB DDR# 1600 Gskill ripjaws
i5 4570K
msi gtx780
seasonic 620W ps
mushkin 480GB SSD
1 TB wd black
4TB seagate
samsung DVD/CD
Liquid cooled(like cm seidon 120)
raidmax viper GX case
we recently did a small upgrade and thats when the problem started....
upgrades were: SSD, Memory, Cooler,4TB HDD and Case and windows 10 free upgrade from win 7 home(actually the win 10 upgrade couldnt finish on the prev ssd(corsair 240GB) so in stead of wipping that ssd and starting over we decided to upgrade the system)
the prob: we get random restarts in win 10 where it gives a blue screen with the spinning dots saying there is a problem and windows is searching/ collecting data??? blah blah usually a different issue each time and occasionally very slo startup...before the upgrade we had no problems with this... system ran great so first thought was one of the new parts is bad?? have run crystal disk info on all drives and all say good...ran the memory test from windows says ok run Microsoft Defender scan no viruses.. ran with only the SSD seemed better but not 100%... one thing of note we did have some problems with the boot order kept getting no boot drive or something and had to go in manually and set the order... did try different sata locations for the ssd and using the backup bios
we're not total newbs here but by no means experts not sure what to do other than start replacing parts but thats not very $ efficent... what part to start with... everything is under warranty still???
