Hello,
I have a desktop computer with Windows 7 and in the last few months it started to constantly freeze for some seconds. It's happening intermittently and all the time, independent of the application(s) I'm using at the time.
I looked at the processes running but I did not find anything suspicious.
I thought it might be related with BitDefender antivirus so I uninstalled it. But the issue continued.
I also increased DDR3 memory from 4GB to 8GB, but the issue continue. I monitored memory and CPU usage during the freezes but they are fine.
My 1TB SATA HD has more than 80% free space.
I don't have much experience with maintenance so I'm here to ask for any suggestions you may have for me to investigate what is wrong. Is there any free useful diagnostic tool I could use?
Thanks!
