The disconnection happens at least once or twice every two minutes. We at least know that this isn't the devices problem, as all other devices connected to the modem both wired and wireless are disconnected whenever the random disconnection occurs. We're assuming the problem is either lying on the hardware and cables itself, or the configuration from the modem. However we've replaced all the cables that can be replaced with new ones except for the cable provided by the ISP that connects to the mainline, if it helps.
I tend to use the Windows Network Diagnostics whenever this happens, the error results keep switching from "The connection between your access point, router, or cable modem and the internet is broken", from something about "The DNS server isn't responding".
Any advice are much appreciated. Should any additional information be needed, I'd be willing to provide more.
