[SOLVED] Intermittent USB 3.0

Hello!
I have a self build with a Gigabyte motherboard #990FXA-UD3, running Windows pro 7. Build is 2 years old, never had any issues, but recently have had intermittent connectivity with my USB 3.0 ports. Updated drivers from Gigabyte website. Power cycle helps sometimes, not always. Two ports on the front of case and multiple ports off motherboard, all show this issue. USB 2.0 work fine.
Any ideas?

Seemingly solved.
Found thread on issue with this board suggesting Enabling IOMMU in BIOS. Others have had same issue.
