I recently built a Windows 10 tower for a friend and have been plagued by WiFi issues using adapters. When hard wired to the router, everything works fine. I have tried multiple USB WiFi adapters and get them all to connect, after using the internet for a few minutes the connection drops. It will sometimes come back on its own but I usually have to manually tell it to connect from the SSID list. All other WiFi devices connected to the home network work fine. I even deleted the SSID from the router and created a new WiFi network, just to rule it out though everything else on the network was working fine. I have tried driver updates, removing the USB WiFi adapters from the device manager and reinstalling the drivers, release/renew the ip address, pretty much all of the high level fixes with no luck. Here is a summary of the build. What am I missing here? Is it possible the motherboard isn't functioning properly?
