Internal Capture card underneath the GPU

As the title says, I'm wondering how safe it is to have a capture card right underneath the GPU. My uncle said it's safe, but I want to make sure because the capture card is blocking one of my fans on the GPU. I have two fans on each side of my GPU, but having one of them blocked can prove fatal, yes?

is there another slot available so that card can use it? how much space is there between the back of the capture card & the front of the heatsink that the fans are in?

My Capture card is literally right underneath my GPU fan. Should I move the GPU to another slot underneath the slot for my capture card? I don't know why my uncle said to not worry about it...

if you have another video slot available then yes.

Because it's blocking the air flow for my GPU, right?

I can't say yes or no without seeing it but an unimpeded airflow is a lot better then a partially blocked airflow. it is like having your bedroom window partly open or fully opened on a hot night.
