I bought an external hardisk casing (3.0) for my old 1tb laptop hardisk to use it externally. But after using it once for transferring data, it stopped working for the next time. I tried to connect the hardrive case to my laptop, even the led lights on external case is not blinking at all. But, I can hear the fan of the hardisk running and then heating up ubnormally. I am really in need to access my files on that harddisk. Can someone help me to sort out this problem?

Solution
First inside hard disk their is no Fan but their is high speed spinning disk.
And hard disk is heating means it is damaged (probably it's logic board) it is hard to recover data. But if you get same type of hard disk and put it's logic board and recover it's data they their is some chances to recover your data
