First my PC hung up while doing multiple tasks, computer would not boot and would show a BCD boot error, tried using Ubuntu bootable USB and was able to load it on the try Ubuntu mode, had the opportunity to access the internal drive and all files were intact, did not foresee a major predicament hence did not back up all files then and there, big BIG mistake made.
Clean installed Windows 7 on C drive and things were back and running, thought I had solved it all, and continued with my work as all the data on the other drives (D and E) were present. Still didn't think about backing it all up.
Next morning PC wouldn't boot and get stuck on Staring Windows logo. after trying the same as had before tried repair tools and Ubuntu boot USB, then found that all drives were invisible,
tried installing Windows again and even there while selecting the drive to install, all drives were not there.
Removed the internal HDD and hooked it to an adapter and connected it to a laptop, the drive somewhat shows up but no data, the drives show size of zero bytes.
Only want some important project data inside hence tried all kinds of recovery tools like Easus ,Stellar,Getdataback etc to no avail.
Would like to know any way if possible to recover some data without taking it to a tech and spending big bucks which is not favorable.
Thanks.
