I took apart my keyboard after I spilled water on it to let it dry, but after opening it up I noticed a cable disconnected. The cable was disconnected by forceful means (there is no port or connector, it was just soldered on and now it's broken off). There are two cables in total, one 14 pin, multicolored cable, and the disconnected single wire cable. After re-assembling and testing, the keyboard seems to work perfectly fine without the cable attached, including the lights. I'm curious as to what the cable did and if it's necessary to reconnect it.
