An "internal modem" has nothing to do with your 80/20 bandwidth from your ISP.

Not sure what you're asking.

Right.
Because that's what they are.
For a current ethernet connection, there is no "internal modem" for inside the PC.

They may exist, but I've never seen one.

And I'm not finding one.

Additionally, just a modem means your PC is connected directly to the internet, with a public IP.
This is NOT a good thing. You really need some of the protections that are built into a router. Whether or not it includes WiFi.
