Hello everyone! I have just assembled a new PC with a Windows 10 OS in the NVMe(not yet activated), I turned the PC on and noticed that the said NVMe is showing on the task bar as a removable media, just like a USB. I actually don't mind this but the PC freezes occasionally with an error saying unknown software exception (0xc06d007e) there are other errors like task host and windows explorer errors, is this because of the NVMe showing as a removable media? How can I fix this?

Rig is
MSI x570 A PRO
Ryzen 7 3700x
2x 8gb Trident Z 3600 Ram
Aorus 650w
Palit Gtx 1070

Solution
That is because the HotPlug setting for this particular drive is enable in the BIOS. Go into the BIOS and disable it. I am not familiar with MSI BIOS, but you probably have to go in Advanced mode to access this setting...
