[SOLVED] Internal or external SSD?

Which is better to install/run games on....some people say they don't recommend installing/run on external

I have an internal and external HHD and my external HHD doesn't disconnect

Internal SSD might have better colling than external one.

And NVME SSD has higher data transfer rate then SATA SSD, even when connected internally.

It isn't really important if the drive is in the box, or outside of the box. What is more important is the types of the drives and their connection method to the motherboard. (E-SATA, Thunderbolt, NVMe, USB2/3/4, NAS, etc..).

What you don't want is the drive letter changing (like when you disconnect / reconnect USB devices in different orders).
