Internal Seagate 1TB Hard Drive makes whining noise every so often

Hello. Usually when I am playing games whilst listening to music, my hard drive will make a whining noise every so often, shortly after this noise my PC will loop the past second of music which I am listening to for a few seconds, and then it will go back to normal, until it happens again.

What do you think is causing this to happen, and how can I prevent it from happening? Thanks.

4GB RAM
AMD Radeon 6870 Sapphire GPU
AMD Phenom II x4 955 CPU + Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cooler
750w Winpower PSU
Antec One case with 2x Fractal Design 120mm cooling fans
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Do a defrag and cleanup. If that doesnt work, theres not much you can physically do to HDDs since they are so precisely assembled. If its still under warranty, claim it. Thats all I can say.
