There's a difference between an internal speaker http://img.bhs4.com/8d/2/8d2064aaa80504b2674052686523f157d1eed2bd_large.jpg and PC speakers http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71PkxjxC8ML._SL1500_.jpg
The internal speaker goes to pins 1 and 4 or 1 and 2 on JFP2 and is used for troubleshooting through beeps, wile PC speakers connect to the motherboard audio ports (back or front) http://thumbs.dreamstime.com/x/audio-ports-14218752.jpg

Greetings Kruppyman96,

The front panel speaker array goes into the JFP2 block or the JAUD1 block.
What does it say in Control Panel > Hardware & Sound > Sound?
Have you plugged in your speakers?

Here's a user's guide to your motherboard:

Best of luck,
GreyCatz.

At the risk of being redundant...

if your plug doesn't look like that, you MUST make it so. Whether black or red wire on which position doesn't matter.
