Internal speakers hp laptop

my speakers will not work this computer is not even a year old external work when they want but not always and when i went in to check it out it says this device is not installed? was never uninstalled so what can i do?

Run services.msc - Scroll down to Windows Audio. Set to Automatic, and Start the service.
