Question Internal SSD causing Steam games to crash

Hey folks,
I recently installed a new internal SSD to my PC to try to get some more space, however my games on Steam have been crashing either on startup or after a few minutes of play. This was never an issue before this SSD, but even after removing it the problem is persisting. I've reinstalled steam, verified game files, cleared my download cache and nothing has changed. Any help would be greatly appreciated, here are my specs as well-

check cpu/gpu temp during the game?

Has been well within regular temps back before I installed the SSD. Idles at ~25C, games usually only go up to 35-40C for me.
