Hi, I don't know if this belongs here, but I couldn't see where else it should go.
Recently, I noticed with some games that when I tried to start, it would say I needed the latest version of DirectX, although I have DirectX 11, and dxdiag confirms it, but today I bought Metro 2033, and now steam is saying the same thing. When I try to update DX, it comes up with a message saying: "An internal system error has occurred: Please refer to DXError.log and DirectX.log in your Windows folder to determine the problem." After checking my Windows folder, I found that neither of these existed.
I appreciate any help that is given, and would be eternally grateful for any solution to the problem. Thanks
