Internal wifi for gaming rig

Hello, I'm looking for a network adapter for my new build.
Should I just get the cheapest one?
I'm going to play online a lot so what speed Will i need?
I'v seen that some cards have smaller slots (the ones that go into the mobo) than others, whats up with that?

Really select which you want PCIe X1 small slot or PCI legacy slot all depending on your boards slot config.
