Internet access not found

I have some software that plays best with Win7. Installed and manually (via phone) authenticated the win7 OS on separate HDD. The Win7 boot seems to work ok but It tells me it can find no available internet connection. when the machine boots in win 10 everything appears to be fine.
Not sure what information is needed for someone to help here. Any help would be so appreciated! Thanks in advance for your time!

After the Windows 7 installation did you install the Windows 7 version of the device drivers including the Ethernet (LAN) and/or wireless drivers? Unlike W10, you must install the device drivers separately for W7.

thanks so much, that does sound familiar. I don't think I did. They would be on the disk for my motherboard correct?

Best to download the latest version from the motherboard or computer manufacturer website.

Yes and thank you! I have downloaded the drivers from Asus’s Website (ASUS MB). I should be able to burn these files to a CD then access them from inside windows 7 for installation, correct?

Sure, that or use a USB stick, either way works fine.
