Hey Guys,

I just installed a new mobo, cpu and ram. Everything worked fine except for the internet acting kinda weird:

-Downloading speed is slower than before. (700 Kb/s instead of 1,5Mb/s)
-It's no longer possible to watch videos on YT or even browse sites while downloading
-When downloading in browser the download seems to get stuck every few seconds until it just aborts.

My old mobo was a Gigabyte z87x-d3h. I switched it for a MSI B450 Mortar Max.

I tried:
-installing latest network driver
-factory reset the windows partition

Do u guys have any ideas what may cause this?
Someone on reddit said that it could be that the NIC (network interface controller) on my new motherboard is just not as good as the old one... is this true when comparing the boards?
Sorry I don't know how to tell...

Thanks for the answers upfront! (BTW: not using Wifi)

I did not at first.
A friend told me I should try that so i used the windows 10 reset option for the OS Partition.
"OS reset" is not the same.

When changing the motherboard and using the old drive+OS, there are 3 possible outcomes:
  1. It works just fine
  2. It fails completely
  3. It "works", but you're chasing issues for weeks.
Increasingly, we're seeing #3. Like this system.

I just followed every step for the clean install and just finished reinstalling the driver.

The Problem still persists. I had to start the download for the GPU driver like 10x because it would randomly abort.

Really don't know what could be the problem here...
