Internet adapter disconnects?

I'm sure many of you are familiar with the game fortnite. Well, for some reason when I'm playing solos my internet is fine but when I go into party with others, my internet adapter always disconnects. I don't think its a game problem honestly. My internet adapter is pretty new. Any help would be appreciated
