Internet browsers won't load anything properly

I built myself a new PC back in October and it's been mostly fine aside from a strange issue where certain games won't load. But since this morning all browsers just refuse to load anything properly, Steam can't connect to my friends list (even though it could when I turned the PC on this morning) and the store page looks like a web page from the late 90's, same thing with twitter and amazon. However some websites look fine like reddit and youtube (although youtube won't load any videos). I'm using google chrome at the moment but the same thing happens with microsoft edge and I tried firefox aswell but firefox refused to load any webpage because the connection wasn't secure.

I've tried deleting browsing history and cache, rebooting, rebooting without fastboot, connecting to next doors internet and so far nothing has worked so any help would be appreciated as this is super frustrating.
