Hello guys ,

I have a problem with internet chocking for quite some time but I'm really tired of it already and I decided to address it here first and after move on with a complain to the internet provider if it proves to be their fault.

So , I'm a gamer let's say for most of my time and while I play Dota 2 / CS Go , and other games , I was just giving 2 examples , every 5-10 min I have a like 2-3 sec lagg.
I was using on csgo the command net_graph to see what actually happens that 2-3 sec while I'm lagging and I saw 2 things:
- ping slightly goes up
- choke goes to 20-30%

Now I'm using a wireless connection but I have tried directly with the cable plugged into my laptop and I have the same problem.

What can be the cause of this? To be hones I have tried all solutions I found on google but I would be happy to get some opinions / solutions even if I have to do it again , I will till I have left only the internet provider option so I can go on with the complaint in case I can't fix it.

Thank you

My advice would be to contact your internet provider, most providers can test your line and your router online so they can test to see if anything is causing interference. So I would call them before wasting any more time searching online.

Thank you very much for your answers

So before calling them I tried again to use cable directly to my laptop and apparently I didn't have any problem the whole day I've been using the cable .

So if the cable is not the problem means is the router...what can I do? is it a factory defect or is it smth else?

So they have come in the end to my house they checked if the cable is good and the line is good and all seems to be ok.

When I plugged the cabble into the router it started again to give me that packet loss / choke every 5-10 min. It seems that clearly is the router's fault. But why? Before this router I had another one and it was happening exactly the same thing...that was the reason of buying a new router...now I got another router 4 days ago and I still have this problem...is unbelievable
