[SOLVED] Internet Conncetion Speed - How to increase download speed.

I have 10mbps internet speed, I also speed tested it and yes it is 10mbps download speed. But when I download files, I have only 1mbps speed. Is this my internet download manager or something else? Like the settings on router or maybe my isp limited my bandwidth?

Downloads are in bytes "B". Download speed is bits "b". Your 10Mb is 1.2MB/s. So your speeds are reasonable.

alright. I think I mistook the mbps and mb/s which is suck. And worse is that my isp make it looks like 10mbps is very high speed. Alright.

If you get Internrt over phone line (DSL), 10mbps (megabits-per-second) is that bad.

10Mbps is the same speed as the original Ethernet, so it's not too bad. Still beats most cellular Internet.
