internet connected but unable to access

hi..i am using a dongle with aircel 3G sim into it to connect to the internet..my status shows connected but i am unable to access any webpage..google chrome shows "webpage not available" and IE shows "cant connect to network"....this is the problem with my laptop only..i mean..when i used the same dongle to connect from another laptop..i can access the internet..
please help me out with this problem..

On the laptop, set your DNS server to the Google public servers at 8.8.8.8 and secondary 8.8.4.4 and see if that fixes the issue.

In Windows you do that by going to the network control panel, change adapter settings, right click the wireless adapter, select properties, double click on IP version 4 in the white box area, change from automatic for the DNS server to those values.

Hello Nishant, If your system is connected to the internet and still you are having problems with the connection then you need to make sure that LAN settings of your connection is proper. You should check the LAN settings of system and the web browser you are using. It must be noted that firewall is disabled on your laptop. Thanks..
