Internet connection for PC

I just moved into a new condo and living on the second floor I have no access to our router on the first floor. In my room there is a coax port and we tried to connect the router to that but couldn't get it to work. I'm guessing its for cable tv. Should I go out and purchase a WiFi card, a powerline connection, or i've read I might be able to get a moca adapter for the coax port. Any suggestions?

Not sure why you are guessing. The complex's management should have all the answers for you.
