Alright so the problem started after i reinstalled and formatted windows 7 onto my SATA HDD. when i try to browse, Internet download speed slows to 0 kb/s and unable to browse and play online games. I own a wireless laptop that connects just fine however my PC connected through an ethernet cable "says" that it is connected however my browser can't load any pages.
Solutions that i have tried:
-netsh ... reset.txt
-ipconfig /release ... /renew
-Checked the ethernet wire by connected it into the laptop. works fine.
-The modem is fine because it worked before i formatted my hard drive
-When i ping google.ca//24.244.4.24 sometimes there is 25% packet loss
-Allowed computer to solve for its own ip addresses and what not.
-IP address is 168.192...... not 169 if you're inquiring.
Any solutions would be beautiful. thanks.
