Internet connection keeps dropping periodically only on one PC

This has been extremely frustrating as I'm not very good at dealing with/understanding networking problems so hopefully there is a simple solution to this.

Starting a few days ago, my internet connection on my PC would just consistently cut out for 10-30 seconds at a time at random intervals of around 10 minutes without fail. This PC has never experienced any problems like this and it is almost brand new as I just assembled it in September this year. Even as I'm writing this it is constantly cutting out and coming back on. What a pain! None of my other devices that use my wifi ever drop connection and this is what confuses me even more. This includes my phone, laptop and another PC in the home. Here are some of the key specs of my PC hopefully they are relevant to you and can aid you in solving this. I can obviously provide any extra details you may need:

Motherboard: MSI CSM-H87M-G43 mATX LGA1150
Power Supply: Thermaltake TR2 600W
I use a PCIe wireless adapter: TP-Link TL-WDN4800 Dual Band Wireless N900
Windows 10

The router used in my home is Netgear AC1450

When the connection drops, it doesn't show up on the connection symbol on the bottom right corner in windows. I notice drops when webpages stop loading, streams stop buffering and cut out, games lose connection and end, the list goes on. I have tried rebooting my modem, router and PC multiple times, I have tried un-checking the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option under device manager. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the network adapter and PCIe adapter in device manager. Nothing is working. I would really appreciate any and all help.

Thank you

Well it was worth a shot and the problem remains as intermittent....

Intermittent problems are the most difficult to solve when it come to electronics and mechanical devices. Vibration, temperature, and physical pressure can cause micro cracks and malfunctions.

Since there are no cables involved (i.e., wireless) then I would consider heat as perhaps being the problem. Either the wireless adapter card or the motherboard. I.e., the card is in use, gets warmer, cuts out, cools, works, repeat cycle. Frequency depending on surrounding temperature and workload.

Make sure that all the fans are properly running. No stray dust bunnies or wires blocking airflows

Leave your case open for a while to see if that makes a difference - more...

I tried taking out the card and putting it back in. No issues so far today! :) I'll let you know if the problem comes back again. Thanks!

Unfortunately the success was short-lived and I am back to where I started. It did not help.

Leave your case open for a while to see if that makes a difference - more air flow and cooling. Push the adapter down gently to see if it has again managed to loosen up a bit.

We have not truly eliminated wireless interference: try setting the computer either higher or at least positioned as differently as possible. May have worked well before but does not take much of a change somewhere to undo that.

See if you can borrow either another internal wireless adapter or a USB wireless network adapter to test for a few days.

Change only one thing at a time and be as consistent as possible. Mostly a matter of elimination now.
