Internet connection problem

we paid an internet connection of up to 50Mbs and I barely cant get a 20Mbps does buying a new router can make my internet speed faster?

I very much doubt it, your wording sums it up perfectly "connection UP TO 50Mbps". 20Mbps does fall in that range!

yep, I know but why I cant get even 20Mbps and the internet speed is constantly at 5 to 10 and its very odd to get below 10 and paying an up to 50Mbps
