internet connection problem

hello. so i bought this pc for like 130 euros and it was worth the money. And it came with an ati radeon hd 7560D and quad core 3.2 ghz. It's pretty good for medium range gaming.

The only problem i have is that every time i download a big file that's like 10 gigs or more with utorrent and the download speed exceeds the 1.7 mb/s the internet connection drops and i have to reset the local connection adapter from the network and sharing center. What can be the cause of this problem?

Could it be that the network interface controller is too old?

Limit your torrent client' number of connections. Don't pirate games, music, movies or applications!
