Internet connection randomly stopping then going back to normal

After not using my PC for two weeks, I boot it up to find my internet will randomly lose connection for a few seconds, then go back to normal(https://imgur.com/a/4St25W2)My resource manager shows this). It is quite frustrating as it leads to me being kicked out of games, not able to skype etc. Apparently all my drivers are up to date, so im not sure what I can do to fix the problem. Can anyone help?

See what your router logs say next time it happens. It might be forcing down a port, or more likely, some aspect of the network is (wrongly) waiting for a response or Ack before continuing. I get a similar problem on my router. It lasts about 30 seconds, but happens maybe 2-3 times a month, so is not a massive issue.
