I'll describe what happened chronologically first, then all the tech stuff at the end,
I was playing a game and talking with my friend. Then, my internet disconnected. I began first by diagonsing the problem. Windows reported that "One or more network protocols are missing on this computer". Figuring this wasn't going to be too hard I jumped on the forums and ran through everything on there (list at the end). I had already considered resetting my computer, so i decided to reset it just to get the issue over with. Unfortunately, even through i reset, my computer still could not connect to the internet. I ran diagnostics again, same issue. I redid most of the things i tried before to no avail. Now it was three in the morning and i was tired. I factory reset my computer and reinstalled win8 (using the win10 option). In the morning, my computer still could not connect to the internet , but the troubleshooter reported a different issue: "ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration". I went back to the forums and did most of the recommended things for this issue (i noticed that most of these fixes were the same). None of these things worked. So i came and wrote this post.
Ipconfig /all (win 10): https://goo.gl/photos/ykaKsdRpr1Mg2gLV9

Ipconfig /all (win 8): https://goo.gl/photos/fUhBQUo82R5NnqPz9

Connection information: i have at&t and use ethernet, i confirmed its not the cords by switching them out with the pc downstairs that connects just fine. I have a laptop and three phones that use wireless, they also connect fine.
My router is the default one att gave me, i dont know if that is relevant because everything else works fine.

List of things i did (probably incomplete)
Ipconfig /renew
Ipconfig /release
Something with -d immediately after

Netsh winsock reset
Netsh winsock ipv4.log ( this is mot what i did but it was something in that format)
Checked ethernet cables
Tried to set my ip address through ncpa.cpl
Uninstall my network card through device manager (it never disappeared, if that matters)
Factory reset my computer
Cycle router
Try different ports in router
Disable /enable network card
Probably something else that i cant think of

Edit: something i just noticed under device manager is that in other devices there is soemthing called "PCI Simple communications controller" that has no driver and can't find any (as this computer is not connected to the internet).

Can you run an ipconfig on a working machine and manually set your address 10 above what you see.

ie. you see 192.168.0.25 - set it to 192.168.0.35

Use the same subnet and same gateway. If that works the DHCP is disabled on your router. You could check by logging into your router first from another machine and ensuring DHCP is active and not out of addresses. You can expand the pool without causing too much trouble as long as you don't have too many static IP's set on your network.

So i did as you asked (I also posted screen shots of the Ipconfig), it did not work. I have managed to borrow a usb network drive (Netgear wg111v2) and my wifi works fine. this is not a solution, but this allows the computer in question to have access to the internet.
