internet download manager issues

guys are there any ways where I can download a video with internet download manager software while using VPN.i have tried to change the proxy settings but none of them are working. it looks initially I was to download but again the problem started to reappear again.

You shouldn't need to change proxy settings while using a VPN.

The VPN itself makes the connection secure.

it's not working Mr derekullo i am currently using better VPN but when I am trying to download a particular video by clicking the idm pop up it's not even downloading by giving me an error which starts with https followed by some number
