Hey, I recently ran into a problem where my internet speed drops from about 100mbps (http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4598273842) to under 10mbps (http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4601946394). This has happened for the past 2 days, and it drops only at night/afternoon. It usually fixes itself when i turn off modem/router for 10 mins or so, but yesterday I had to reset the router for the speeds to go roughly back to normal (I only got about 50mbps). please help i have absolutely no clue whats going on right now.

My router is a Linksys WRT 1900AC
My modem is a CG3000v2 that optus sent me

thanks for any help!

In case your ISP is one of Liberty Global's companies, your problems should disappear within a couple of days. They currently have problems with repeated attacks from hackers. So far no worry of data loss or privacy, because the attack is designed for the purpose of shutting down a network and no actual hacking takes place.
