So this started happening a couple of weeks ago, I use to get around 400 mbps down, but now I am only getting 160 mbps down.
I have tried the following:
I feel like I'm running out of options. If anyone can think of something I haven't tried yet to help me, please let me know.
I am running Windows 10 64-bit
My system has Asus Z170-AR/i7-6700k/1080TI/16 GB RAM
I am using a cat7 50' ethernet cable but i have a cat6 50' cable available as well
My NIC is Intel Ethernet Connection I219-V
I have tried the following:
■ resetting the router
■ tried a new router
■ updating my drivers
■ resetting my ipv6
■ flushing my DNS
■ resetting my network settings on my computer
■ ive checked my duplex link speeds
■ replaced the ethernet cable
■ tried different ports on the router
■ tried a network card(which the IP couldnt be configured on that, no matter what i tried)
■ ran diagnostics on my ethernet port, ethernet cable, and my connection(all came up green)
■ Ran a speed test on my computer and my roommates computer(he is getting the full speed, while I am not)
I feel like I'm running out of options. If anyone can think of something I haven't tried yet to help me, please let me know.
