I hope someone can help me out I'm really struggling on this.

For a while now, my Internet been cutting off but its only in my room of the house. My room is the front room of the house and is the one with the router placed in it. Yet my connection is the only one in the house that drops. It does it with my pc and my xbox series x (didn't seem to do it with the xbox one). Both devices are on cat7 cables. I've tried different ports on the router, I've tried different cables all do the same.

When I play xbox with my brother his doesn't turn off and his room is the attic in the house, his doesn't drop and mine does, I'm not understanding why it's doing it can someone help?

What is the make and model of your router?

Are the other devices hardwired or wireless?

Is the router getting plenty of airflow? Believe it or not routers can overheat like a computer so be sure there is air space around it.
(I'm from the UK also, by the way) we are with a company called utility warehouse average 35mbs which we do get, the Internet speed is fine so I don't think it's throttling or anything. The name of the router they called it their super router I think.

Everything is wired except our phones also

And yeah the router is well ventilated in an open room ontop of a cupboard it never feels to hot.

I guess it depends on what you mean "drops". Does the ethernet port in the machine action go into a disconnected state or is it something else. If you do a IPCONFIG /all when it is broken what if anything looks different that when it working properly.

There could be some issue with the in wall cabling....more likely the jack..the wire itself seldom goes bad after it has been working.

The issue is it drops for like a second but comes back on, the issue is I play online games for the most part, so it disconnects

When it goes down its for like a second that's the annoying thing about it. It comes back up, so when we ring the isp they cant see that it's going down so I think it's something internal. But because I play online games, when it cuts out it takes me out of everything and punishes me etc
